Fishing never comes soon enough..
The real question is, why do I always want new stuff? I have a good spin/fly rod. I have a decent fly rod. My reels do the job. I have a good vest, backpack or fanny pack to use. So why do I want a new fly reel? I catch lots with my current set up. I don't want a new rod unless it's a 4' 6" 2 piece Ultralight setup. I just really want a new fly reel. But then I need backing, and fly line, and new leader. So I can't just get the cheap $15 reel and be done.
Fish are waiting to be caught. Someone needs to make the trek up the mountain to see how far you can go. Any takers?

The reason you want new fishing stuff is the same reason I always want new gun stuff. It's NEW.
And you always want variety. It gets old looking at the same stuff all the time.
I'd love to go camping right now, but fishing? I suck at fishing. You remember. I'd have better luck shooting the fish. try to lure them is is impossible for me.
if you come with me and use a fly.. you WILL catch fish...just ask Kyle
