Summer Plans....

So, for a few years I've wanted to go on a hike. I think I could do it in 3 days and still have fun. From my calculations actual hiking distance would be 17-20 miles.

The trek would begin on a Thursday morning being dropped off at Chepeta Reservoir. From there I want to head on to Whiterocks Lake. I'd spend the night there, fishing and doing whatever I want because I'd be CAMPING! Friday would be spent hiking and fishing the 5 or so lakes from Whiterocks to Cliff Lake. Spend the night at Cliff, or if I'm tired camp could be made at Workman Lake. Saturday would be more fishing and hiking on to Paradise Reservoir where I'd be picked up. If someone with an excellent knowledge of the area were to pick me up they could actually drive all the way to Cliff Lake and do the pick up there.

I'd post pictures of the lakes but I don't really want to figure all that out right now. Google Earth has pictures of the lakes. There are USFS trails to all the locations so it's not like I'd be going blindly. Elevations would be over 10,000 ft most of the hike. I just need to figure out when and who would go with me and who would be the chauffeur. Jeremy? Kyle? Dan? Anyone else?

If I wasn't such a lazy SOB I'd go with you guys. But, me and hiking 27 miles over broken ground doesn't sound super appealing.

I'd be happy to watch you guys hike. I could do that no problem.

We could always make it a shorter hike..Just go to Whiterocks lake for a day hike.. 3.5 miles... seriously not that big of a elevation change.. at least according to Google Earth.. 400' change? You'd be up for that I'm sure...
